Contraceptive options can be discussed and obtained at the Health Center. Condoms, oral contraceptives, Depo Provera and contraceptive patch are available, as well as discussion of Natural Family Planning methods.
Prescriptive methods, (oral contraceptives, Depo Provera, Ortho Evra patch and diaphragms), can be obtained after a complete gynecological examination with the Nurse Practitioner at the Health Center, or with documentation of a recent exam and permission from your private clinician.
Oral contraceptives available at a reduced cost through the Health Center include OrthoTricyclen(generic), Cyclessa(generic) and Orthocyclen(generic). The Ortho Evra Patch is also available.
Once established on an oral contraceptive or the patch through the Health Center, OCP or patch refills can be obtained by calling the "Pill Refill Line" at x1464 . Please allow 24 hours to refill your prescription. All prescriptions can be picked up at the Health Center during regular business hours.
In-house pregnancy testing and counseling is available.
