Elizabethtown College Honors Program
Admission Requirements


Admission to the Elizabethtown College Honors Program is highly selective and is by invitation only. Students are typically admitted for their first year. There are no additional costs or fees for applying to the Honors Program and a separate application is not required.

The application deadline for consideration in the Elizabethtown College Honors Program is January 15. All students interested in the Honors Program must have an on-campus interview with the admissions office (Click here to schedule a campus visit and interview).

Minimum requirements for participation in the Honors Program:
 • A combined Critical Reading and Mathematics score of at least 1200 on the SAT (with neither scores below 550) or equivalent on another standardized test (TOEFL, ACT).

 • Ranking in the top 10 percent of one's graduating high school class

 • Review by the Honors Committee acting upon the recommendation of the Admissions Office

A limited number of sophomores may be admitted upon demonstrated excellence in first-year courses, the recommendation of at least two professors, and the approval of the Honors Committee.
