Cable Television Services

All academic buildings, offices, residence halls, and public lounges are wired for cable TV. The system provides high quality Fiber Optic transmission of the Basic and Standard Comcast Cable lineup, including educational programming such as C-SPAN I, C-SPAN II , PBS, CNN, CNN Headline News, Discovery Channel, the Learning Channel, Arts and Entertainment, and local and national news. The College's own Leased access cable station, ECTV-40, can be tuned in on Channel 40. The system also provides closed circuit live and prerecorded College generated programming on Channels 22, 95 and 96. Programming includes: educational videos, training tapes, calendar of campus activities, and occasional live events. The College Television Network is available on Channel 90.

*Additional channel packages, Digital On-Demand Services and pay per view programming can be received at a cost, by contracting directly with Comcast Cable Services at 1-800-COMCAST. All contracting and billing for converter boxes and premium channel services will be transacted directly between the students subscribers and Comcast Cable. Elizabethtown College assumes no responsibility for any premium services purchased by students.
