Student Computer Helpdesk

The Student Computer Helpdesk is available to answer questions, resolve problems, and provide information about the residential networking for students on campus. This organization has been designed to be the main point of contact and the central source to receive help with student computing at Elizabethtown College.

Our office is located in Nicarry Hall, Room 108.  Client Services can be reached by telephone at ext. 3333 (717-361-3333) or via e-mail at helpdesk@etown.edu.  The staff is able to assist in troubleshooting problems with computer registration (including updates), internet/network connectivity, password and account issues, as well as assistance with supported software.  Please note, during the beginning of each semester ITS visits all on-campus residence halls to verify connectivity to our network.

Client Services does not handle: hardware issues, operating system reinstalls, hard-drive reformatting, user-specific or downloaded software, and piracy-promoting applications.  Staff advise local vendors if your issue pertains to a listed problem.

The helpdesk is staffed according to the following schedule and voicemails may be left 24 hours a day.  Hours will vary during official national holidays, college breaks and during final exams.

Monday-Thursday 8:00am - 10:00pm
Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Saturday 12:00pm - 5:00pm
Sunday 5:00pm - 10:00pm
