Information for Advisors


Advisor information is available on a shared network folder for all faculty and staff members of the college.  Please select the corresponding operating system in which you are using to navigate to advisor related materials.

These guidelines only apply to on-campus, campus owned machines.  VPN access (available via ITS) must be used to navigate to this data off-campus.  Please contact ITS for additional information on these procedures.


Windows Users (Internet Explorer shortcut)
 
Alternative instructions:

  • Double-click "My Computer" on the desktop, or click on the Start menu, and then click on "My Computer"
  • Double-click on "Homedirs on 'applications' (T:)"
  • Double-click on "Faculty & Staff Shared Folders," and then "Registration"
  • Lastly, double-click "Shared - RegInfo"


Mac OS X Users (Drives needed to be mapped)

Network drive mapping instructions:

  • Go to the Deskop (also known as the Finder)
  • Select the "Go" menu from the title bar, and then click on "Connect to Server"
  • In the location bar, type in "smb://applications" and press [Enter]
  • Mac OS X will then prompt you to enter your credentials; your Etown username, your password, and domain, which is "JAYNET" and then press [Enter]
  • Select a shared volume you want to connect to; select "Homedirs" from the dropdown menu
  • Subsequently, double-click on newly created "HOMEDIRS" button on the deskop.
  • Navigate to: "Faculty & Staff Shared Folders", "Registration", and then "Shared - RegInfo."
