Welcome to Living & Learning at Elizabethtown College!
This year we are offering first-year students the opportunity to live on four Living and Learning Community floors. To live on one of these floors you are required to be enrolled in the courses related to that hall. Below are the Living and Learning Communities for 2009-2010:
Simple Living 3
Honors Residential Community
Partners in Engineering (PiE)
GEMS Community
Students who enroll in any one of these courses are automatically enrolled in the residential living learning community. Students in the Simple Living course will live with a mix of their classmates and other first year students not enrolled in the course.
This residential community will allow students to live with a group of students with similar interests. Students will have a support network of Learning Community Assistants, Peer Mentors, Residence Life Professional staff, and faculty to aid them with any issues or needs that arise. Most importantly, the students on these floors will have the opportunity for deeper learning and a closer relationship with their faculty.
