The Brethren Academy for Ministerial Leadership is an umbrella under which are offered a variety of certificate and continuing education programs for training pastors and lay leaders. Academy Certified Training Systems (ACTS) programs are intended for lay people who want to learn more about the faith and calling of Christian community; licensed ministers who are part of the three or four year training program to fulfill educational requirements for ordination; and ministers seeking continuing education.

The purpose of this essay is to give a sample of writing skills and a baseline of where you are in your calling.
