Act out in class! We encourage it.

Hands-on, interactive theatre classes held in the Black Box theatre get you out of your seat and on to the stage.

Join a department full of characters. And, occasionally, play one.

Audition for a part. Construct a set. Design a costume. Write a play. Surprise yourself! 

Dance: Elizabethtown in Motion

Learn ballet, jazz and modern dance. Join the dance team Emotion, the College's largest club.

Internships and Opportunities

The Theatre program at Elizabethtown College encourages students to work with local theatres to get a taste of what a career in theatre might be like. Directors at such local theatres as Mt. Gretna Theatre, Theatre of the Seventh Sister, Ephrata Performing Arts Center, and the Fulton Theatre have expressed interest in having our students work with their professional staff members.

Internships can be in technical theatre, stage management, theatre management, public relations, and performance. And as of fall 2011, theatre students at Elizabethtown will be able to earn credit for such internships by enrolling in TH470, Theatre Internships.
