-
Tuesday, Thursday: 9 am-3 pm
-
Saturday Oct 14 and 20: 8-6 pm

*Note: all of these times are approximate. We are allowed to use the courts whenever the varsity teams or gym classes are not playing. They have priority rights, so please be courteous.
Rules
· Most of you who have played before are familiar with the general rules of tennis. If you have any questions please contact myself or consult the USTA’s website. During your match if a call is undetermined, just replay the point. Women should play best 2/3 sets, Men 3/5 (unless otherwise discussed to play 2/3 with your opponent before the match begins).
Please remember that this is just a game, not the US Open, so call your lines fairly, we don’t need a Serena Williams incident.
Reporting Scores
· After you play your match, please email me with you and your opponent’s names and score. I will be keeping track of the scores so we can seed all of you in a grand championship during the last week in October.
Balls
· Please bring a can of new/gently used tennis balls to each of your matches. If you do not have your own, please ask Mike Faith, Intramurals Director (faithm@etown.edu) to grab some for you. Try to not always have your opponents supply balls, have integrity and supply for about half of your matches. This is supposed to be fun, not a big financial commitment for a few people.
Doubles
· I know some of you were really interested in playing mixed and regular doubles. Unfortunately due to the short amount of time we have before it gets cold, scheduling is going to be really hard. If you are interested in playing doubles matches, please send me an email and I can give you a list of everybody else who wants to play doubles and you can work out your own schedule. (I would be more than happy to help arrange that, I am interested in playing some double matches as well).
Lessons
· For those of you who are interested in lessons Shannon Brown should be contacting you soon. If you have any questions, email her at brownsh@etown.edu.
Spring
· If we continue to have high interest we can have tennis intramurals in the spring as well, please send feedback at the end of the fall season.
If you have any questions, comments, or need something clarified, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Enjoy playing and best of luck in your matches!
