Nancy Drozdow presents Nov. 15
Nancy Drozdow, founder and vice president of the Center for Applied Research (CFAR), will present November 15 at Elizabethtown College. Her talk—“Strategy is What You Do, Not What You Say”—will be held Thursday, November 15 from 7:30 to 11:00 a.m. in the Susquehanna Room of Myer Hall. Sponsored by the S. Drozdow is a founder of the Center for Applied Research, a private management consulting practice that originated as a research center inside of the Wharton School, where Drozdow earned her masters of business administration. She is a member of the board of directors and currently leads the firm’s family business practice as well as their strategy group. She also is a founder of the Family Firm Institute (FFI), an independent educational association that serves family firms and supporting professionals. An FFI fellow and former board member, Drozdow is now the President of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of FFI.
Over the course of her 30 years of experience, Drozdow has developed unique insight into the world of business which helps her teach business owners how to plan for the future. She engages in executive coaching, consulting one-on-one with leaders facing critical decisions and financial analysis. Known for her ability to address both the concrete business challenges as well as the internal and often emotional problems associated with family-owned businesses, Drozdow helps clients to make difficult choices that will improve their business.
Drozdow’s work has been recognized nation-wide. Her writing has been published in several respected business journals including the Journal of Management Consulting, Sloan Management Review and the Family Business Review.
