“This tournament provides undergraduate students, who are engaged in the study of law, an opportunity to exhibit their knowledge and advocacy skills in a real courtroom,” said Dr. Kyle C. Kopko, director of the Elizabethtown College pre-law program. “Undergraduate mock trial competitions enable students to hone their public speaking and critical thinking abilities.”
The top seven teams will move on to the Philadelphia Opening Round Championship tournament, March 23-24, 2013.
Sponsors of the event include Elizabethtown College, the Lancaster Bar Association, the American Mock Trial Association, Murphy & McGonigle Corp. and Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions.
