FYS - World War II LLC
World War II is a first-year seminar that examines the history of World War II from its origins in the 1930s to its conclusion in 1945. Emphasis will be placed on the nexus of domestic and foreign policies, that causes and consequences of battlefield victories and defeats, collaboration, resistance, the Holocaust, and the home front. The course will cover both the European and the Pacific theaters.
This residential community is open to all first-year students who enroll in this course. Special events for this LLC will include guest speakers, film series, and a community trip the Holocaust Museum.
In 2011-2012 FYS World War II will be housed in Royer Hall.
