Advising and Registration
Information regarding a student's honors program progress and status is now available for first-year, sophomore and junior honors students via the JayWeb advising module under "Grad Report/Degree Audit." Students who have advising questions about completion of the program requirements should schedule an advising appointment with the Director, Dr. Dana Mead.
RBI requests are not accepted from students who have an academic advising hold.
Program Requirements
Honors Students must complete 24 honors credits (typically six 4-credit courses) over their four years at Elizabethtown College, including First-Year Seminar, Interdisciplinary Seminar, Leadership Theory and Practice, and a Senior Thesis in the student’s major or minor. In addition, students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 to remain in good standing and be eligible for certain program privileges.
Students whose GPAs are below 3.50 but above the cut-off for their class (based on semester enrolled or number of credits completed) are still members of the program, but on probation. Students dropping below the cut-off for their class will be removed from the program. Students who regain a qualified GPA may petition the Honors Committee for readmission to the program.

- End of 1st year 3.00
- End of 2nd year 3.25
