Ann Marie Potter, MA, OTR/L has over 20 years experience as an occupational therapist. Ann Marie is a lecturer in the Elizabethown College Occupational Therapy Department and is currently a doctoral candidate in the Health Related Sciences-Occupational Therapy progam at Virginia Commonwealth University. For the past 12 years Ann Marie has been teaching assessment and intervention courses in the areas of cognitive, sensory, perceptual and physical rehabilitation, as well as clinical reasoning and adult development. She has clinical experience in spinal cord injury rehabilitation, geriatrics, outpatient hand therapy and community based health promotion programming. Ann Marie's current research is exploring the impact of breast cancer treatment on cognition and functional performance.
