HCC DUAL Admissions Program
Students participating in the Dual Admissions Program between Harford Community College and Elizabethtown College pursue their bachelor's degree through seamless enrollment from an associate degree program at HCC through upper-division coursework at EC.
Transfer and Application of Credits
Student apply for the Dual Admissions Program through our Admissions Office. Students admitted to Elizabethtown College through the Office of Admissions with an earned associate degree, consisting of at least 40 corresponding general education credits from HCC, will be recognized as meeting all of the requirements of the Elizabethtown College Core Curriculum with full junior Standing. The foregoing provision does not supersede curricular prerequisites or departmental program requirements established in the College catalog. Nor doe sit exclude the student from completing the signature learning requirement, or residency requirements, for completion of a bachelor's degree.
Elizabethtown College will accept the transfer of HCC credits up to a maximum of sixty-four applicable semester credit hours. Students may earn up to a maximum of 32 credits earned through examination (i.e., AP, IB, CLEP, etc.). Official certification of exam scores and official college transcripts are required for credit transfer. Please refer to the Elizabethtown College Catalog Academic Policies for more detail on graduation, residency, etc.

The Office of Registration and Records has designed a webpage to assist students in their search for course equivalents between Harford Community College's Programs and programs at Elizabethtown College. Students can search for course equivalence by title or by departmental discipline. Course Registration
Prior to open registration, a student is required to consult with their Academic Advisor at HCC. Course registration should be coordinated by Elizabethtown College's Transfer Admissions Counselor.

Semester Calendars and Important Dates
Students enrolled in a course at Elizabethtown College through the Dual Admissions Program are expected to familiarize themselves with Elizabethtown College's academic calendar and important dates associated with course enrollment. Students enrolled in this program will be governed by the same academic policies and deadlines as enrolled students at Elizabethtown College.
