Which FAFSA Should I Submit?

If you need financial aid for classes or terms taking place between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026, you must submit the 2025–26 FAFSA. The 2026-27 FAFSA applies to enrollment from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. For example, if you're taking summer classes in June 2026 or requesting retroactive aid for the 2025–26 academic year, you’ll still need to complete the 2025–26 FAFSA, even if it’s near the end of the cycle.
