Looking to Make a Gift This Year?
Elizabethtown College closes over the holidays from the end of December through early January.
Etown recognizes that many choose this time of year to make their philanthropic contributions. Gifts to the College are welcome at any time of the year, but there are some considerations to keep in mind if you would like to give to the College at this time.
Year-End Giving
Online Giving
Visit etown.edu/give. IRS guidelines require online credit card transactions to be completed by 11:59 p.m. on December 31. The time of your gift is based on the time zone in which the gift is made.
Give By Mail
Make checks payable to "Elizabethtown College". Envelopes must be postmarked by December 31 for 2026 tax deductions. Because of recent USPS changes, it is recommend to take your mail to the post office counter and ask for a hand-stamped postmark which will show the actual mailing date.

Give Through Stock
Get stock transfer instructions on our webpage. It is recommended to begin mutual fund transfers by November 28 and stock transfers by December 24.
Give Through an IRA
If you are 70½ years of age or older, this may be a beneficial way to give. Your gift must be received by Etown by December 31. Learn more.
