June New Student Orientation
Our Summer New Student Orientation takes place in June. Students will receive more information and be able to register for orientation during the spring. Be sure to check your email regularly once you deposit.
New Student Orientation: June 26 & 27, 2026
During the summer, we invite new students and their families to attend a one-day orientation to prepare for the transition to Elizabethtown College (both days are identical; choose the date that works best). Students meet their peer mentor and peers and receive fall class schedules. Families attend sessions to answer their questions about the upcoming college transition. Everyone has the opportunity to learn more about Etown from faculty and staff. It is our goal to build a strong relationship with new students and families so that we can be supportive during this transition.

That's okay! We will email what was covered and important information to you the following week, including how to access your schedule. Your peer mentor will contact you to introduce themselves and add you to the group chat (which will be helpful all summer).

| 11 a.m.-12 p.m. | Students: Meet your peer mentor and peers in your First Year Seminar/Transfer Community Families: The Etown Community |
| 12-1:25 p.m. | Lunch & Optional Activities (Info Fair, tour residence hall, shop at the College Store, complete/submit health forms) |
| 1:30 p.m. | Students: Meet Your Peers Families: Concurrent Sessions |
| 2:15-3 p.m. | An Insider's Guide to Etown |
| 3-3:30 p.m. | Momentum Program Meeting (for students invited to participate in the Momentum program) |
| 3-4 p.m. | Optional Activities (visit the College Store, get your schedule questions answered, get your ID picture taken) |
