Programs

BS in Engineering

This program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org and emphasizes hands-on projects every year. Broad curricular and project background allows students to excel in the current multidisciplinary nature of many engineering careers. From that broad foundation, students select a concentration of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Sustainable Design.  This is our fastest growing major and accounts for two-thirds of our 150 Engineering and Physics students. See catalog details including Program Educational Objectives and Student Learning Outcomes. See CHECK SHEET for BS Engineering

BS in Physics, BS in Physics Secondary Education

The BS in Physics is preparation either for graduate school or for the technical job market. Excellent choice for self-motivated students with broad interests since the lower credit requirements allow for ample electives and possible double majors. The BS in Physics Secondary Education is offered in conjunction with the education department, leads to Pennsylvania teacher certification at the secondary level. See CHECK SHEET for BS Physics and CHECK SHEET for BS Physics - Secondary Education
