The emotionally touching international film "The Story of the Weeping Camel," about a Mongolian herding family and an unusual addition to their camel herd, will be shown at 7 p.m. tonight, Sept. 20, in the Brinser Lecture Room.
Enjoy international coffees, teas and pastries while listing to the musical group Katari at the Global Village taking place at 10 a.m. tomorrow, Sept. 21, in the Blue Bean. Fair-trade products will be sold and there will be henna hand painting.
At 4 p.m. Wednesday evening, recipes from around the world will be featured in Marketplace during the International Dinner, and following dinner, at 7 p.m., is the film “The Spanish Apartment,” (“L’Auberge Espagnole”) shown in Brinser Lecture Room. “The Spanish Apartment” explores cross-cultural understanding when students from around the world share an apartment in Barcelona while studying for graduate degree.
