Elizabethtown College Theatre presents 'From Up Here'
Comedy-drama opens Feb. 9
Elizabethtown College Theatre presents the comedy-drama "From Up Here," at 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, through Saturday, Feb. 11. The show continues at 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, and Friday, Feb. 17, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, in the College's Tempest Theatre.
"From Up Here," written by Liz Flahive, follows the story of high school senior Kenny Barrett and his return to classes after doing something very serious—something almost deadly. Barrett would like to become invisible for the remainder of the year, but his life is made more complicated by his mother's rocky second marriage and a surprise visit from her estranged sister.
The cast includes first-year students Stuart Foley and Wendy Moulton, sophomores Katie Owens and Mike Wawrzynek, and seniors Nicole St. Pierre, D.J. Littell, Rachel Saul and Coty Morrison.
The play is directed by Terri Mastrobuono, Elizabethtown College adjunct faculty member. Scenic designer is Richard Wolf-Spencer, assistant professor of theatre; guest costume designer is Teresa Wolf-Spencer; makeup designer is Angie Wilt '12; and lighting designer is Keller Robinson '13. Stage manager for "From Up Here" is senior Jenn Simpson.
