The First-Year Experience (FYE) has three components:

Explore your academic interests and learn to thrive in your new college home.

First-Year Advising

Get to know your first-year advisor.

First-Year Honors

Join a select group of peers.

Upcoming Events

Advising Connections: 15 March 2017, 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

To officially “mark” the transition from your first-year advisor to your major advisor, the Office of the Dean for Curriculum and Assessment is sponsoring Advising Connections at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15.

Advisors will meet their new advises at this time to officially welcome them to the department. After greeting advisees in assigned rooms, advisors and advisees will proceed to one of nine central locations where refreshments will be available.

If you are a double major, please visit first one department and then another. If the second department has already left the meeting room, please proceed to the appropriate refreshment location.
