Information for Prospective Stamps Scholars
The Stamps Scholarship is equal to 100% of the value of the annual cost of tuition at Elizabethtown College. The Stamps Scholarship is awarded in addition to need-based aid and any other third-party merit aid up to the total cost of attendance. The scholarship is renewable for up to eight semesters.
Stamps Scholars receive $6,000 in enrichment funds to enhance their educational experience over the course of their college career. These funds can be used for study abroad, internship support, leadership development, participation in conferences, and other qualified educational activities.
Stamps Scholars are automatically admitted to the Elizabethtown College Honors Program. This gives scholars access to Honors housing, course offerings, and programming.
Stamps Scholars are mentored by the Stamps Director as well as a designated Stamps Faculty Guide, a faculty member at Elizabethtown who works closely with each cohort of scholars throughout their college experience.
Community on Campus:
Stamps Scholars at Elizabethtown are part of a community, gathering regularly for retreats on and off campus, to engage in service activities, for conversation over dinner with guest speakers, and informally to share with and learn from one another during their time in college.
Stamps Scholars are part of a national network of highly talented and ambitious Stamps Scholars from approximately dozens of Stamps Scholars institutions across the country. These scholars come together every two years for the Stamps Scholars National Convention. Stamps Scholars institutions frequently host regional conferences that provide additional leadership development and networking opportunities to Stamps Scholars.
