16th Annual Landmark Conference Summer Research Symposium

The Landmark Summer Research Symposium brings together undergraduate researchers from the Landmark Conference schools. Students will present the results of their faculty/student collaborative research in posters or oral presentation sessions. This year, the event will be held at Elizabethtown College. Lunch will be available with the symposium beginning at 12:45 p.m. and concluding by 5 p.m. We look forward to having you join us!

Conference Day Information

Check-In

Attendees should go to the Masters Center lobby for check-in. Buses and vans can drop off passengers in front of Leffler Chapel.

Parking

Parking for this event will be at the Young Center for Anabaptist and Pietist Studies for busses. Cars will be able to park in reserved parking on the Leffler Chapel side of the Masters Center.

Presentations

Oral Presentations

All presentation rooms will be equipped with appropriate audio/visual equipment. Oral presentations should be no more than twelve minutes in length with an additional three minutes allowed for questions. Prior to traveling to the symposium, oral presenters should make their presentation accessible via their email or on the cloud (e.g., a link to a Google Slides presentation or an attached PowerPoint file). At registration, there will be computers for presenters to access and download their files. (Bring your login information!) 

Posters

Poster stands and boards will be provided. The mounting board is 48" wide by 48" high. Posters larger than this will not fit. If you would like Elizabethtown College to print the poster (for a fee), submit the request to Print Services by July 1 (student presenters receive a 10% discount by selecting LANDMARK SYMPOSIUM POSTER).

Registration

The abstract submission and conference registration deadlines have passed. Please contact Susan Mapp directly for late registration information. Lunch is provided for student presenters and faculty mentors. Friends and family may purchase lunch at the dining hall or make alternate arrangements.
