About Lesley
Lesley has worked in higher education more than 20 years. After earning her bachelor of arts in history at Marietta College, she worked in Chengdu, China, Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland before relocating to Lancaster. She has served in various leadership roles both at a foundation and in higher education.
At the American Foundation for Urologic Disease she served as director of the national research program, managing editor of the magazine FAMILY Urology, and assisted coordinating special events and public relations campaigns featuring Kenny Rogers, Lord of the Dance, David Copperfield, Stan Musial, Len Dawson, Dr. J, and Dr. Lou Gossett Jr. She and her husband George reside in Lancaster with their two daughters who are in college and where they support nonprofits in our community including the North Museum, Lab Rescue, and Omega Horse Rescue.

About Susi
Susi Mapp has been at Etown in the Department of Social Work since 2003 and before that worked for 6 years in the research and grants management department at a major children’s agency in Houston where she served as a program evaluator and also wrote grants. In her role, she heads the Office of Sponsored Research and Programs and works with Lesley to support those seeking grants.
