Group Counseling
Group Counseling is highly effective for many student concerns. In group counseling, therapists facilitate discussion and interactions among individuals who are often struggling with similar concerns. Through this process, individuals can hear other's perspectives, feel connection through shared experience, and practice new ways of interacting and coping. Counseling Services offers different group counseling opportunities each semester. The groups being offered this semester are listed below.

PRIDE
A safe and empowering support group for LGBTQIA+ students to discuss and explore topics related to sexual orientation, gender identity, and diversity. Additionally, we will focus on self-care, healthy relationships, sharing resources, and self-advocacy.
Fridays from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. in the Mosaic House (Starting March 15)
LOSS (Loss of Something/Someone Special)
This group is meant for students who are seeking a space to process through recent grief or loss. This group will discuss and honor multiple types of loss, discuss the stages of grief and the effects that loss can have on one’s overall health and wellness, as well as provide empathetic open conversation and support for all members.
Wednesdays from 3 – 4 p.m. in BSC 211 (Starting March 13)
SEE US (Support Encourage Empower US)
Support group for students of color at Etown College. Participants are encouraged to talk, listen, and fellowship with peers about their shared experiences in relation to race, gender, relationships, belonging and equity in the collegiate setting. SEE US hopes to ensure BIPOC students feel seen, Supported, Encouraged and Empowered.

Healthy Relationships
A welcoming space for students who want to learn about building and maintaining healthy relationships. This is a support and educational group meant to foster healthy connections with others as well as our connection to ourselves. This group will discuss topics surrounding the development of social skills, communication, boundaries, and conflict resolution.
