Counseling Services and Student Health
The Offices of Counseling Services and Student Health provide services and programs to foster the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being and development of students in order to facilitate student’s personal, social, and academic success. Our staff is committed to meeting the needs of people of diverse racial, ethnic and national backgrounds, gender, sexual/affectional orientations, mental and physical abilities, religious/spiritual beliefs, and socioeconomic backgrounds as well as other types of diversity. We collaborate and use a team and holistic approach to helping students.
Counseling Services and Student Health staff values diversity, and stands against hatred, bigotry, oppression and violence.
Counseling Services and Student Health staff is deeply saddened by the horrific violence in places such as El Paso on August 3, 2019 and Pittsburgh on October 27, 2018. We extend our support to all people impacted by the tragedies, and to other underrepresented groups that could be at-risk for experiencing hate crimes.
Counseling Services is available to talk with students through both scheduled appointments and urgent walk-in services during our office hours (BSC 216, phone = 717-361-1405), and through our 24/7 after-hours on-call system (717-361-1111).
