Michelle joined the Elizabethtown College community in 2016 and provides integrative and developmental advising and education to students of all levels seeking to explore their academic, career, and vocational goals. As the Starfish Coordinator, Michelle was a member of the integration team that customized the alerts and connections system for use at Elizabethtown. She regularly authors and distributes a Starfish newsletter to the campus community with tips, instructions, and Starfish-related accomplishments. Michelle assists in training sessions, provides assistance to troubleshoot any issues, and communicates valuable information about the system to the campus community.

Eugene Thomas

Eugene “Gene” Thomas joins us as the Assistant Director of the Learning Zone. Gene formerly was an Area Coordinator for Community Living here at Elizabethtown. Before coming to Elizabethtown, Gene taught middle school and high school Social Studies for the School District of Philadelphia. Gene holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Millersville University and a Master’s in Transformative Education and Social Change from West Chester University.
