Academic Programs Advising Connections
Representatives from academic programs hold advising connections events and provide all first-year students with an opportunity to connect and get to know their new advisor as they embark on a meaningful advising relationship that will hopefully continue throughout their time at Etown.
Students who are exploring multiple possibilities, have not decided on a major program, and/or are considering a minor program are invited to attend the session for Exploring Students, which will be led by experts on our Academic Advising team, in order to get some advice on course registration.
We invite all academic advisors to meet with their new advisees and officially welcome those students to their academic programs prior to first advising session. We encourage students to contact and connect with new advisors (which can be found in Starfish).
