4+4 Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) Early Acceptance Program
Elizabethtown College offers a preferred admission program to Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) for students who have completed four years at Elizabethtown College. To apply, students must be US citizens or permanent residents and have a GPA of at least 3.3 in science courses and an overall GPA of at least 3.4 by the end of their junior year. Following the LECOM interview, LECOM will notify both Elizabethtown College's HPAC and the student of their provisional acceptance status to the LECOM Doctor of Dental Medicine Program. High school seniors interested in the program should directly contact LECOM using the inquiry link on their website. Similarly, current Elizabethtown College students can apply before their junior year by reaching out to the Chair of the Health Professions Advisory Committee for more information. It is important to earn a grade of C or higher in the listed courses marked with an asterisk (*). Before starting their courses at LECOM, students must obtain a baccalaureate degree from Elizabethtown. To participate in this agreement, students should apply directly to LECOM's Early Acceptance Program.
